Margin Notes
Victor Klimoski
Many of the poems a writer composes often begin as private notes, ways to record the impact of life and events that catch one's attention. Over the process of revision and refinement, some of these notes find their public voice and be offered to others as they traverse much of the same ground. Several of these poems come from a difficult series of transitions. Some are commentaries stirred by the events of the day, and still other pay tribute to women and men whose lives illuminate the life of the writer. And some of the poems are accounts of the ongoing puzzlement over navigating the waters of daily life and still being surprised that perfection is illusive.
