Riikuul and Miirii barely survived a tragic mutilation at the hands of their former grandmother. Being near death and only three moons old they used the flow of Aquii's energy to save themselves. That action created an extraordinary bond when they merged their power as well as their essence. Having nearly died, the two young dragons plunged into the Abyss and beyond. It was there that the bond they shared cemented into an unbreakable force. The first dragons to be born with the ability to use the power of Aquii struggled to gain control of it. Their tendrils opened doors to a dragons' ability that had never been open before. Highly emotional and protective of each other, they strove constantly to keep a balance between Hot Rage and Cold Fury. Falling into Cold Rage was dangerous, even deadly. Their power was limitless then and nigh on uncontrollable, but Riikuul held that overwhelming power in check. Distrusted. Punished. Their astoundingly powerful abilities harbored distrust. As they grew, so did their powers as well as their bond. A bond that was impossible to break and irrevocably forbidden. He could not have her and she could not have him, but forbidden or no they would be together.
