About the Author:
Martingly "Gly" Nelson is a writer, poet, and philanthropic entrepreneur out of Tampa, Florida. Among other works, Martingly is the founder of a social enterprise called Impact Global International, specializing in implementing recycling and renewable energy in underdeveloped countries like Haiti. Martingly has started his writing career with the intent to inspire others to deal with the challenges he had to face in order to find himself. His interests include community work, social justice, waste management, renewable energy, and soul music. Each element of his personality is displayed in his work to give readers an opportunity to formulate their own perspectives. His aspiration is that his readers can find strength in their insecurities to inspire others. As an original author, he aims to stimulate the youth and give them perspective at an early age. He wants this compilation of poems to be an inspiration to aspiring artists, athletes, professionals or whomever is touched to revisit their calling. Martingly continues his work in Haiti and is launching a new recycling program in Tampa to promote global sustainability.

This work can call upon us as individuals to re-evaluate our thoughts and actions, in relation to the negative and positive consequences that they may entail. All the while, the body of Lyrical Therapy is promoting an insightful outlook reminding us that we are not alone in the struggles we often personally face internally. It beckons to us to realize we can and should pull our thoughts and emotions together into a picture that we are willing to face, review, and then grow and abound where needed.
