As the title suggests, A Short Story About A War is a concept album. It brings us to a fictional desert planet consumed by war, with various factions and philosophies clashing, and in the middle of it all, one character who doesn't believe in the power of bullets.

The simple plot is rich in meaning, connecting to themes of migration, ecology, economics, politics, and most critically, the deepest parts of our spirit.

The War itself represents our competitive society, and the feelings of aggression and fear that it produces. And the desert world where the story takes place reflects a sense of our damaged environment and parched souls.
