Confluxus

This is the third release on Leo Records by Wally Shoup, but this time he has a new line-up: his long time associates Toshi Makihara on drums and Brent Arnold on cello. It's "softer" music than Wally usually plays, and there are even hints of melodies - the presence of the cello allows Wally the time and space to play with great emotional clarity. All in all, a new and softer side to Wally Shoup whose painting graces the front cover of the CD. Liner notes by Tom Djll.
