Releases by Nexz
The Japanese-South Korean K-pop group NEXZ has in record time established itself as an exciting new name on the international K-pop scene. The group was formed through the talent show Nizi Project Season 2, a collaboration between JYP Entertainment and Sony Music Japan, and officially debuted in May 2024. NEXZ consists of seven members – Tomoya, Yu, Haru, So Geon, Seita, Hyui, and Yuki – and the group's name is a contraction of Next Z(G)eneration, which emphasizes the ambition to represent a new generation of pop stars.
With their energetic mix of K-pop, hip-hop, electronic beats, and catchy pop melodies, NEXZ have created a musical universe where dance and performance, in particular, play a central role. The group's impressively synchronized choreography, youthful charisma, and ability to combine Japanese and Korean pop culture have helped give them a unique identity. At the same time, their international composition and activities in both the Japanese and South Korean markets have given them a strong starting point for reaching fans all over the world.
Their debut single Ride the Vibe (2024) secured NEXZ a great start with a first-place spot on Hanteo's daily album chart in South Korea. Later that same year, they followed up with their debut EP NALLINA, which reached the top 10 on both the South Korean and Japanese album charts. With subsequent releases such as O-RLY? (2025), Beat-Boxer (2025), and SAUCIN' (2026), the group has continued to develop their musical expression and build an ever-growing international fanbase. Along the way, they have also completed their first Japanese concert tour and performed at the international festival Rock in Rio in Brazil, which has further cemented their position among K-pop's promising new names.
