Contributor Bio:  Davis, Carlton Author Carlton Davis, born 1944, is an artist, architect, and writer. A graduate of Yale University and the University of London, He has been a part of the Los Angeles Art and Architecture Community since 1980. From 1980 to 1986 he conceived and ran the Art Dock, the drive-by art gallery. The North Hollywood subway station for the Metropolitan Red Line and the Los Angeles Mission for the homeless are his architectural designs. He has written numerous articles for art and architecture magazines. bipolar bare is his first book.
