Jonny Greenwood
Jonny Greenwood, multi-instrumentalist of rock band Radiohead, was nominated for the BBC British Composer Awards, for Popcorn Superhet Receiver in 2006.
Inspired by radio static and the extended, dissonant chords of Polish Composer Penderecki's Threnody for the victims of Hiroshima, the piece was also used in Paul Thomas Andersons movie There Will Be Blood.
