When Old men Dance for Love
Stephen Hester
Steve Hester studied creative writing with William Blackburn at Duke, but then went to Harvard Law School, an experience which stunned him into silence for twenty years. A refugee from the law, Steve wrote seriously for six years before his death. He took workshops with Rod Jellema and Moshe Dor at the Writer's Center in Bethesda. His poetry has been published in the GW Review, the Plum Review and Wordwrights, and he gave readings at Miller's Cabin, Leaf-Through Books and other local venues.
