Rhyme, Free Verse, Haiku: a Collection of Poetry

I express many emotions through Rhyme, Free Verse, Haiku, A Collection of Poetry. Poetry offers me a way to investigate the feelings that run through my mind whether good or a bit on the more thoughtful side. I enjoy writing down how I feel hoping I'll be able to touch someone else and trigger similar emotions. We all experience love some time in our lives. Most of us have a deep affection for nature. Many of us become politically active with something at some point, as we exist. All these experiences are normal. We all share these things; therefore we all can appreciate poetry written about them. I'm an artist and I've painted with oil and watercolor. As I write a poem I try very hard to include those words that will more adequately present the best "painting" of what I'm trying to communicate to enable my reader to understand and hopefully go deeper into a line of thinking. Sit with a cup of tea and allow yourself to drift as you read. Perhaps I'll be able to persuade you to see something differently. Perhaps you'll just close your eyes and smile. Knowing you might do that makes me feel good inside."This is an expansive collection of great poetry covering a wide range of topics."-Caroline Lumpkin, Author of Beautiful Memories In Poetry
