Brief Description: Based on the life of Guillaume Apollinaire, early twentieth century French poet and critic, this sparkling novel recreates the spirit of the man and the age. Biographical Note: Mark Frutkin has published two previous volumes of poetry, "Acts of Light "and "The Alchemy of Clouds." The Governor General's Award nominee has also published six novels. Contributor Bio:  Frutkin, Mark Ottawa author Mark Frutkin has published thirteen books of poetry, fiction, and non-fiction in Canada, U. S., U. K., Holland, Russia, Poland, Turkey and South Korea. His novel, Fabrizio's Return (Knopf 2006), won the Trillium and Sunburst Awards, was a finalist for the Commonwealth Writers' Prize, and premiered as an opera in the U. S. in 2014. His most recent novel is A Message for the Emperor (Vehicule); his most recent book of poetry is Iron Mountain (Beach Holme).
