Since an earthquake killed her mother and left her with nowhere else to go, Teresa has been confined inside a cement compound and surrounded by others like her. She has abilities beyond what any known human can do, and for this reason, she has to stay hidden. For years she's been training to control her power and hide it from the outside world that's out to kill people like her. Her friends and only family now, Chris and Lydia, learn to defend themselves alongside her, but their home is now under attack by an unknown threat.
