First published in 1909 as an article in Munsey's Magazine, a leading magazine of its day, A Second Courtship by Wallace D. Wattles, who's best known for his classic masterpiece The Science of Getting Rich, is a fictional case study of how one man saved his failed marriage from an almost certain divorce by instituting a second courtship with his wife.
The story goes like this:
Jack and Maxie Bagley were on the verge of an almost certain divorce when, responding to a newspaper ad, Jack went to see Muggridge, a teacher of constructive science.
Muggridge taught Jack the essence of constructive science as it relates to marital happiness and recommended he institute a second courtship with Maxie at once.
Jack followed Muggridge's advice to the letter, and his and Maxie's marriage was saved.
What that advice was and how Jack followed it is the subject of this incredible article by Wallace D. Wattles.
