A Smidgen Of Early Utah Air National Guard History

The Korean War began on June 25, 1950 when North Korea invaded South Korea following a series of clashes along the border. It was at that time plans were made to increase the protection of Salt Lake City, and the State from air-attack, using the Utah Air National Guard. This book addresses some of the history of these units as they defended our country, during that time and thereafter. Compiled by SMSgt. Robert L. Vandegrift, Retired.
