Henry Blackburn
Randolph Caldecott (1846–1886) was a British artist and illustrator. He was greatly influential as an illustrator of children's books, but also exhibited sculptures and oil paintings at the Royal Academy and was elected to the Royal Institute of Watercolour Painting in 1872. This biography first appeared in 1886.
