Publisher Marketing: The 18th century was a wealth of knowledge, exploration and rapidly growing technology and expanding record-keeping made possible by advances in the printing press. In its determination to preserve the century of revolution, Gale initiated a revolution of its own: digitization of epic proportions to preserve these invaluable works in the largest archive of its kind. Now for the first time these high-quality digital copies of original 18th century manuscripts are available in print, making them highly accessible to libraries, undergraduate students, and independent scholars. This collection reveals the history of English common law and Empire law in a vastly changing world of British expansion. Dominating the legal field is the Commentaries of the Law of England by Sir William Blackstone, which first appeared in 1765. Reference works such as almanacs and catalogues continue to educate us by revealing the day-to-day workings of society.++++The below data was compiled from various identification fields in the bibliographic record of this title. An Adventure with ED the AED is a book written from the heart to help raise awareness of sudden cardiac death and to give a simple set by step instruction booklet to help young children as well as adults learn Hands Only CPR as well as AED use. James Lucas is a paramedic fireman and has spend 17 years with Hoodland Fire Department in Welches, Oregon. James teaches Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Life Support as well as Basic Life Support and many other classes related to EMS. James and Indy are working on the second book in this series which will address different types of AED's and how simple they are to use in hopes that people will not be fearful to grab one and turn it on during an emergency situation. James coined the phrase "Keep Calm & Turn the AED On!" in hopes that people will identify with how easy the operation of an AED really is - he is passionate about spreading this life saving word to as many as possible. Proceeds from their book will go to helping save more lives by purchasing and donating AED's for foundations they support. Please visit their web site at www.indytraininginc.com for contact information. Indy Lucas (1970) was born in Oregon. Indy has been involved in EMS for the last 20 years. Indy completed her Bachelor's degree from Washington State University in June of 1995 - majoring in English with a minor in History. Indy teaches the Basic Life Support section for Advanced Cardiac Life Support at a local community college as well as many other CPR classes in her area. In May of 2010 after a friend's 13 year old son died of Sudden Cardiac Arrest her husband and her got very upset and decided to dedicate their lives to making people more aware of Hands Only CPR and AED usage. Her husband is a paramedic fireman of eighteen years and also teaches BLS, ACLS, PALS and many other courses over the years in the fire service. They absolutely believe in heart screenings but also want as many AED's out there as humanly possible just in case.
