After the ordeal in Singapore which nearly killed him (No Turning Back), Mark Danno now works as an Interpol International Special Force agent (IISF). He receives his training in Rome before returning to St Andrews, Scotland. There he unearthes a consignment of drugs and arms belonging to the MalfEuro, a newly formed and the most notourious underworld organisation headed by Adam Johnson, one of the original Flamino brothers orphaned 30 years ago in Italy.
