Three Men in a Boat (To Say Nothing of the Dog) is a hilarious account by Jerome K. Jerome of three overworked friends who decide to take a boating holiday on the River Thames between Kingston and Oxford. Of course, nothing goes according to plan, and the reulting mayhem with such things as tents, camping stoves, and a plaster-of-paris trout trophy creates some of the most entertaining reading ever.
