Perils of Hate
Roger Williams
Marcus Wade is a black teenager who believes that his best friend-in a failed attempt to kill-has seriously injured a white teenaged bigoted girl. The girl lies in a coma in a hospital. Marcus learns that he has evidence that can send his friend to jail. He is faced with a serious dilemma as to how to handle the situation. Wes Banter is a white teenager who is angered by the attack on his brother by a gang of blacks and hispanics. He fights with his conscience as to how to deal with his anger. Should he join a white supremacist group or not? Jake Stoner is a white teenage bigot who decides to try and blow up his high school in an effort to kill minority students. How these young men handle their problems, as well as their hatred, might just be statements on where society is headed for today's young generation-in regards to race.
