This fantasy adventure tells the story of four youngsters who, through an amazing quirk of the Internet, find themselves able to travel through time. They journey back to a time in our own recent history, then venture further back, until finally the youngsters are taken to a land of complete fantasy, where the landscape is beyond their imagination and is inhabited by strange and wonderful creatures, and also some terrifying monsters. The first two main characters, a teenage boy, Luke, and his girlfriend, Stacy, live in the present day in the city of Coventry in Warwickshire. Whilst doing some research on the Internet for their college studies one morning, strange things begin to happen to Luke?s computer ? bright lights and colours flash from the computer screen and the terrified youngsters can only watch in horror as their bodies are vaporised and sucked into the computer screen. This is the beginning of their first journey through the ?time tunnel?. At first they are fearful of the unknown, but this soon transfers to wonder and awe at the experience that is unfolding and the visions that they see. When Luke and Stacy had been sucked into the computer, Stacy had managed to grab her mobile phone, which is Internet enabled, just before they were pulled into the time tunnel. They were soon to realise that they would be able to use this phone for further travels through time, and eventually to take them back home again. Luke and Stacy?s greatest passion is the music and fashion from the sixties era, and somehow they are plunged back to 1966 and find themselves in our capital city, London. This is where they meet and become firm friends with the other two main characters in the book, a teenage couple of the sixties, Shane and Shania. The story recounts their activities in the city, which culminates in a lively party at the home of one of Shane?s relatives. At the end of the party, Luke decides to take Shane and Shania int
