Jonas Starr is a proud wife and mother of two amazing sons. She enjoys cooking, shopping, painting and working with children. She is the owner and operator of a children's learning academy. Ms. Starr enjoys serving her community and making a difference in the lives of others, especially children. Her accomplishments include an Associate's Degree from McLennan Community College, a Bachelor's from Baylor University and her master's from Grand Canyon University. When asked how she remains focused, Ms. Starr states "whatever you are called to do in life, you must learn how to keep stress from distracting you or destroying your peace of mind." From the first day Ms. Starr had the opportunity to paint an abstract painting she fell in love with art. She admires the strength of God and family, the importance of the community and the respect she has for self. For over ten years, her passion for helping children has grown further than she ever imagined. As a classroom teacher, she enjoys writing songs, developing learning materials and using her imagination to create illusions and scenes that allow children to enjoy learning.
