This is a cutting edge, challenging, and informative book about the bride of Christ preparing herself to meet her groom. Often christian leaders and church members have spent alot of time asking God to do something that He has commissioned us to do. The idea for the title came from the scripture Revelation 19:7. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour unto Him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and His wife has made herself ready. In a typical wedding the groom does not see the bride until it's time for the ceremony. The bride prepares herself to meet him at the altar. She fixes her hair, she puts on make up and perfume, then adorns herself with her wedding gown. Those three words, made herself ready, stood out in my heart and mind. This book will enlighten and stimulate thought. It will deal with docterine, personal responsibilty, accountability, church discipline, and challenge us on things we have believed and been taught all our lives. Jesus finished His work on earth and is now interceding for us. Before He returned to heaven, He told His disciples He would build a church that the gates of hell would not prevail against. Then He told them "Behold, I give you the keys". Let's work with the Lord and build Him that church.
