?Scribbles? is a collection of widely assorted writings?some autobiographical but mostly fictional?plucked from the author?s life starting in the Great Depression in rural North Carolina and leading to present day Manhattan. It includes poems, radio dramas, commercials, short stories, scenarios, and explanatory notes.
