In this fourth (Not by Death Alone, Death by Proxy, and Mind Over Death being the first three) of a continuing a series of novels, Will Francis, professor of computer science at a small university in North Dakota, finds himself talked into a plan to save the world from runaway global warming. He?s taken to a lab fit with the best in technical equipment and personnel, and expected to produce a real life form capable of solving this problem. What he slowly learns about his situation, however, drives him to take flight across the Rocky Mountains in order save his discoveries from those who might use it for their own ends. He subsequently finds himself in a battle between two warring parties, whose goals become less and less clear to him. With dangers growing from both groups, he sets out on his own in hopes of solving crises that may overcome both he, his wife to be, and the entire world.
