Event Day, 1993 - Twenty-one years ago, a cataclysm cut the United States in two. "The Event". John Kroft emerged screaming into the world in the back of a station wagon as his parents fled the horrors unleashed on that day. To Kroft, the annual celebration of Event Day is just another reminder of a life lived hard. He just wants to be left alone on his birthday, but bad things always happen to Kroft. Especially when he wants to be left alone. As fate would have it, he collides with a woman who shares his birthday during a typical Event Day riot. They soon find themselves being hunted by an invisible, demonic creature. It will take all of Kroft's courage, strength, and utter insanity to survive his birthday, rescue the girl, and earn some peace and quiet. Love/Kroft Series One: "Fortress Cincinnati" - After the Event, terrifying forces start to surround Cincinnati. The city must become a fortress or die. This black comedy/horror series chronicles the lives and deaths of the citizens of Cincinnati who must fight against the continuing supernatural horrors spewed upon the earth by the Event.
