The Songs of Three Chords Good and Mystery Glue: All the lyrics, chords, and bars. Tabs / notation of all the essential electric and acoustic guitar riffs, picking and phrases.

In 2011 Graham Parker contacted the members of The Rumour to see if they'd like to make a record with him. They all said yes. In June they recorded an album in upstate New York called 'Three Chords Good'. Then by an inexplicable piece of timing, Judd Apatow asked Graham to play himself in the film he was making. When Graham told him he was making his first album with The Rumour in over 30 years it fitted into Judd's storyline to have a 'reunion' of GP and TR in the movie. It was filmed in Hollywood in August. In 2012 they did an American tour including a show in LA to coincide with the premiere of the movie 'This is 40'. In 2013 they did another US tour of the East coast as far as Chicago. Then they did a UK tour. In 2014 they recorded an album in London called Mystery Glue. Then they did a longer UK tour and some European shows. In 2015 they did one more east coast US tour and one more UK tour. That was the end of the reunion tours. This book has all the songs from both albums in fine detail - lyrics, chords, tabs and notation. It has over 30 previously unpublished photos and contributions from Graham and all the members of The Rumour. It's a song book and a memento of the totally unexpected five year long reunion of Graham Parker and The Rumour. It's my idea of a celebratory artefact to mark our second go round. So whether you play a guitar or not this book has something for you be it playing the songs, attempting to play the songs, reading the lyrics, looking at photos and enjoying the anecdotes and recollections of those involved.
