OSHA 1926 Electrical Protective Equipment is a subsection of 29 CFR OSHA Part 1926 Subpart E-Personal Protective and Life Saving Equipment. Further, this Work is a result of requests by my student for a small, compact subject specific textbook-workbook for Electrical Personal Protective Equipment. However, and in addition to the detailed Work for OSHA 1926.97, sampler information is provided for OSHA 1926.950 Subpart V-Electrical Power Transmission and Distribution pertaining to Materials Handling Transporting and unloading power poles and crossarms, with additional information pertaining to Lineman work belts, location of tool loops, dimensions of the belt, material of the belt and dimensions of the work belt including the required OSHA padding for the work belt. This Work OSHA 1926.97 discusses in detail via examples, workbook, and the OSHA study guide-reference OSHA paragraph 1926.97(a) Design requirements for specific types of electrical equipment, OSHA paragraph 1926.97 (b) Design requirements for other types of electrical protective equipment, and OSHA 1926.97 (c) In-service care and use of electrical protective equipment. Following the discussions of 1926.97 (a), (b), and (c) a similar discussion in example, workbook and OSHA study guide-reference OSHA Table E-1 AC Proof Test Requirements, Table E-2 DC Proof Test Requirements, Table E-3 Glove Tests-Water Level, Table E-4 Rubber Insulating Equipment, Voltage Levels, and Table E-5 Rubber Insulating Equipment, Test Intervals are all discussed in Example, Workbook and OSHA 1926.97 Subpart E in this inexpensive textbook, examples, workbook study guide publication.
