Jess and Stacey, owners of a small bakery slowly going out of business, struggle to hold their relationship together as the pressures of life and love threaten to tear them apart. Alex, determined to help them any way he can, endangers his own relationship with Haley, who has just quit her office job in search of something she may never find. Maybe stress isn't the enemy. Maybe being stressed is just part of what makes us all human. DESSERTS is a Novella Concept Story. It's one of twelve novellas I will be writing this year to support charity organizations and those they represent.
