In the heart of the Pocono Mountains, a three month manhunt comes to an unusual end when an expert survivalist turned bank robber abruptly surrenders to police, babbling wild stories of a ghost in the woods that harassed him each night- a legend of local lore known as the Gray Man. A helicopter crashes in the forested wilderness, stranding a team of state troopers tasked with recovering the robber's discarded loot. Leading them is disgraced Army pilot, Blaire Andover, who is forced to pull her small band of injured survivors together to await rescue. Now it is starting to grow dark. And a handful of incapacitated men will be easy prey to what is out there lurking in the shadows. But Blaire may find herself more worried about what kind of monster walks among her group.
