From Portlyn and her family, Joel learns about permaculture, agorism, true economics, and natural living, and he meets the most incredible people who have found ways to live outside of the system. It doesn't take long for Joel to fall completely in love with Portlyn, who welcomes him into her life and shares with him her dream for creating a better world.
