The story take place in Chicago, Illinois where young Royalty lives a tough life. But experiences a number of good things along the way from rags to riches. The plot begins by introducing Royalty, her family and some child hood friends. She has been diagnosed, with an aggressive form of disassociative Identity disorder(DID), and is now responding to medication. The story then fasts forward fourteen years Through Royalty's Illness and the lives of her family members. We learn about Royalty unending love relationships as well as the struggles she has coping with her different personalities. In quest to find her inner- self, she writes in a journal, jotting down her daily activities.she is now ready to settle down and be a mother to have two children.but trouble seems to find her even when she's not looking for it.
