Ash Grove
Roy Garde
A longtime resident of a street, called ASH GROVE, that's in a coal-mining village in South Wales, shares reminiscences concerning his, sometimes, very friendly neighbors. There are 2 novellas added - one about the coming apocalypse in which the last 600 people left on earth have to come up with an innovative way to keep from starving when their supposedly lifetime supplies runs out due to incompetence and the second one is how a small town finds itself free of crime and perversion and drunkenness after being 'blessed' with a down-to- earth method of accommodating lust and unseemly urges and, by doing so, obviating anti-social behavior.
