The 2016 Presidential Campaign was one of the most publicized and talked about campaign in United States' political history. It was full of extraordinary social, economic, and political turbulence, fueled by the media and the outspoken front running candidates. Notable in this campaign was the buzz word of Deplorable, with credit owed to frontrunner Mrs. Clinton, which denounced half of her opponents supporters with this negative term. However, those classified as such, positively embraced it. From the foothills of America's purple mountain majesties to the amber waves of grain, sea to shining sea and all in-between, deplorables encompass every state of our great country. Deplorables are hard-working American patriots found in sprinkled pockets across major cities, but that masses lie in the foundation of our country, rural America. Within rural America and those city pockets we find the Millennial generation, noted as the greatest generation as "no other adult peer group possess anything close to their upbeat, high-achieving, team-playing, and civic-minded reputation." This book speaks to the Millennial generation from a cognitive psychology perspective, encompassing the 2016 election, concluding with a study on their voting results from this historic presidential election.
