Superheroes have invaded pop culture to higher levels than almost any other media phenomenon. Many inventions of the 20th and 21st century were first seen in Superhero movies or comic books.

Did Superheroes define what was technologically possible?In what cases did they predict the future, and where did they miss?

Given their long history, it is difficult to understand what these influences are and how they unfolded over history. This book takes a closer look at two superheroes, Batman and Superman, and details how they have changed Technology and Science, and how Technology has changed them.
