As the Civil war had been raging for two years, two men enter the bloody fields of Pennsylvania. Joshua Anderson wore gray and was impatiently waiting a letter from home. James Spalding wore blue and anticipated the birth of his first child. Each man has to fight their way through their own faith walk each believing God had ordained their army. This novel intertwines both factual events and people with fictional characters. Jonathan Perkins grew up in the foothills of the Adirondacks and currently resides in southern Michigan with his wife and daughter. He enjoys studying history especially the Civil War, diving, and spending time on his boat with his family.
