The Alsatians

With their destinies intertwined inside a web of intrigue, the Alsatians seek revenge on the Wiltshire regiment. Driven by extremes of coincidence, the few remaining Wiltshire men are unaware of their enemy's intentions as they are assigned to security details. One group protects a Royal Navy inspection party who unwittingly uncover a deception. The second group are sent to protect doctors and nurses of the Red Cross and end up helping men who were their enemies just weeks before, survive an arduous winter. Some of the Wiltshire men will find love, others will find devotion, but all of them will discover killers as rabid as anyone or anything they faced on the Western-Front, as the Alsatians force a deadly showdown.

Born in England, Leo Kearley has been a student of imperial history for decades. He travelled to the far flung reaches of the Commonwealth, to fall in love with the culture, and magnificence of New Zealand for many years. Later, he moved to Australia, where his passion for history merged with an active imagination to create a fictional series, depicting the conflicts of Europe during the volatile times of the twentieth century. His story writing is interspersed by his career as an IT architect, coupled with any excuse to go skiing with friends and family.
