The Sassafras Tree
Lynnette Randoll
A parcel of land was gifted to a granddaughter from her loving grandparents after she married and started a family. On this land was a Sassafras tree that she had watched grow since she was a child. This is the story of the changes the girl and the tree went through together and the memories made and shared.
LYNNETTE RANDOLL grew up on her grandparent's dairy farm, creating many fond memories. She has lived in the small town of Bloomsdale, Missouri since she was two years old, when her family returned to her mother's childhood home. She worked in the City of St. Louis until her daughter was born and has since held many local jobs including work at St. Agnes Catholic School, a local feed store, and bartending at Dew Drop Inn. She is currently the City Clerk in Bloomsdale, Missouri, a position she has held since 2006.
