Gatha Saptashati

This book is a collection of 700 "Gathas" compiled by the great King Satavahana Hala from 2nd Century BC. Gathas are poetic snippets (similar to Shlokas in Sanskrit). Translated from Prakrit (a peer language to Sanskrit prevalent in India 2000 years ago) into Odia and beautifully interpreted, this is a virtual treasure trove of timeless and pithy life lessons.
