The Fernwood Fanatic

When Uncle Ponzi takes over management of the local media and Ms. Stinky becomes program manager, the nature of local radio and television programming changes dramatically. The days of nice down-home feel-good stories are over. Through some so-called investigative reporting and on-air interviews, Ms. Stinky very effectively barbecues a bunch of local high-profile swine. Tiring of her Uncle Ponzi's stupidity, Ms. Stinky decides to finally kill him. At the same time, Foxy has an altercation with Detective Williams and tries to kill him. Ms. Stinky and Foxy get quite a surprise after claiming to have killed Uncle Ponzi and Detective Williams on the local radio when the Chief Coroner, Dr. Necro Phelia is a guest on the program. Not surprisingly, Ms. Stinky is quite angry when she does not go to jail. Foxy not so much. Every Village Needs an Idiot Series celebrates the good fortune we have in Canada to always have strong competition for the position of village idiot in every community. In the series we learn about some of the animals that are the strongest candidates for these positions in Victoria, BC neighbourhoods and adjoining cities. Ms. Stinky, Dr. Ponzi, Foxy Ferguson, Luna Tick, Busy B. Ody, Dr. B. Rayne Fixer, Lily Pad, Nipinator, Miss Kitty, Dips Tick and, other characters show what happens when stupidity, a hoggish lack of manners and no understanding of moral and ethics are combined with a healthy dose of arrogance, grandiosity and self-centredness.
