With mixed emotions and a desire to get away from the control at home, Karen goes to summer camp. She has her struggles, she has some problems, but she also makes friends and learns how to get herself back onto a good path. This story is a work of fiction but it does include, because of the consultation of the real-life Kat, experiences and feelings, as well as life stories from not only her struggle, but others she has known who also struggle with eating disorders. It is meant as a representation of the struggle, as well as inspiration to take a path that will make a positive difference. It has been created to reflect Kat's real-life struggles and her desire now, to help others fight.
