British History in Brief

This is a history book intended for overseas visitors or UK tourists seeking historical sites to visit. It can also be used for teaching history at a basic level, perhaps with a view to teaching in greater detail at a later stage. There are details of where events took place, how to get there and whether the site is set up to receive tourists. It will tend to draw foreign tourists away from London and into the provinces.
