Without doubt, the most vile acts committed by man is the trafficking of children for sexual degenerates or the enslaving of youngsters for the purpose of forced labor. Child exploitation is widespread beyond human understanding or belief-- the kidnapping and transporting of minors. The Innocent by Donald Owen Crowe opens the sores of human trafficking and lays bare the depravity of man as fathers sell their daughters and mothers surrender their sons to slavery. Not limited to one geographical area of the world or to one race, and not even to just one financial status, Crowe's novel is based on real events and is almost too realistic to be fiction as he draws the reader deep into his exploration of man's evil toward his fellow humans.
