Love, deceit, and spiritual awareness were a part of daily activity. It took a heavenly display of the elements that led to a refocus on spiritual values. Yes, heaven couldn't wait for most of the characters, but only some eventually found that proverbial "heaven on earth." The real heaven would await them all, when "eye has not seen, nor ear heard, what good thing the Lord has in store for them who love Him."
