Pensamientos

This is a collection of prose and poetic stylings that seek to represent encounters with nature, experiences, and states of being. They engage in a dialogue with antecedents, and one can recognize the influences of Whitman, Dickinson, Baudelaire, Plath, Ashbery, Rimbaud, Lorca, Storni, Nervo, Neruda, and Darío. This is not to say that the poems achieve the level of the influences, or that this is in any way a complete list of influences. However, the experiments and stylings are intended to encourage the reader to think, reflect, and write his or her own.
