The Story About Tigger
Cameron Pendergraft
Tigger was a funny-looking dog with short legs, a long chubby body, and a big head with little ears. Her kind eyes were the color of chocolate.
She loved to get gentle ear rubs, play outdoors, sleep on a soft couch, and play with squeaky toys. One day everything changed for her when her family abandoned her at a no-kill animal shelter when they moved.
For seven months, Tigger languished in a cage there, becoming more and more lonely and isolated. Then the author came, took her to a room, gave her ear rubs, and chose to adopt Tigger.
Tigger's new, loving family and home were everything she most desired. Gentle ear rubs. Squeaky toys. People who told her she was the prettiest dog they'd ever seen.
