Introducing a new series by QAS Books: HeartSoft. Quranic Ayat That Affect Our Hearts (and Minds) through Science. Both our QAS and HeartSoft workbooks save time for parents and teachers. We provide ready-to-use, worksheet-like, pages with the Quranic verses that mention specific scientific phenomena, and a writing prompt for thoughtful student response. To produce these pages, we searched through the Qur'an for any verses that mentioned something scientific, such as the birth of man, or the creation of the earth. Then we ask your student to reflect, appreciate, or otherwise express their heart's connection to the wonders of Allah's creation and His Book. Unlike a mainstream science book or workbook: we make a connection between reason and faith. Need to integrate Islam in your STEM class? Couldn't be easier than this! How about integrating Islam in Language Arts? Have them write daily about their faith in this workbook. These lessons are designed to take about the first ten or so minutes that a class is normally given to be introduced to a topic.
