And every time God blesses the foolish they squander it, or lose it, and then they want God to replace it or give them some more. (Do you know anybody like this?) Humanity say's: -God, I messed up my first husband and now I need another one, will you help a sister out? -God I'm sorry I started this war across the sea, can you get me out of it? -God, I smoked up my first set of lungs and now I need another pair, can you help a brother out? -God, I gambled away my good looks, can you hook a brother up? -God, I lost my first family, can I get another one? This text helps us to see that we as humans are users and if we are not careful we will try and use God. They wanted to use Jesus to supply their "bellies need".
