26 easy-to-use sessions from the book of Isaiah for youth. Isaiah isn't my favorite book of the Bible. There. I said it. With the exception of the Christmas verses and chapter 53, I rarely delved into its depths. It is a massive book, but also one that can, at times, be a little dark with chapter after chapter of judgments. But in the midst of all that, I started seeing these beautiful images of God's love, such as: "For I, the LORD your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, 'Fear not, I am the one who helps you.'" Isaiah 41:13 ESV The all-powerful God who created all things takes His people's hand like a dad walking his child across the street! And even more amazing: He loves them despite them acting just as badly as the other kids in the neighborhood. Isaiah is a gorgeous portrait of God's grace.
