Inspired by a hip hop song Black Boy Fly is the call for young black males to better there situations by taking action. Black Boy Fly: Shifting the Culture, is a story line that we see all the often within the black community. This book takes readers on a journey from the eyes of three young friends Messiah, Raesse, and Shine, who grew up together but ended up going in separate directions later on in life. The author would like for you to find each one of these characters in your real life and challenge them to be better. The goal is for all black boys around the world to spread their wings and fly out of the circumstances that are put in front of us.
