The Sea Is Coming

THE WORLD IS AT WAR.

In Rashleigh, a Cornish seaside village, a young music teacher, a casualty of the Blitz, has returned to recuperate and to come to terms with the sad fate of the man she loved.

Invited to play piano for the Master of Millrace, a crumbling household and rambling estate, she encounters Charles, the heir, himself horribly mutilated, and is brought on a dark and unsettling journey which exposes the shadowy lives of the occupants.

While the war may seem like it is happening in some far off and distant land, its consequences are much closer to home.

What begins in a brief and dizzy spell of possibilities, ends on a sea of shattered dreams.
